Changelog
What's new
We ship fast. Here's the recent work.
October 2026
The mobile app catches up: run your whole day from your phone
- ·Mobile parity: the Android app now does almost everything the web does - edit booking types in full, manage teams and team event types (collective or round-robin), build routing forms, run invited group polls, edit reminder workflows, manage multiple availability schedules with date overrides, see a booking's payment and intake answers, import from Calendly or Cal.com, and browse the apps marketplace.
- ·Temporary booking holds API: reserve a slot for a few minutes while a customer finishes paying in your own app, then confirm it or release it. The slot is locked the moment you hold it, and confirm and release are idempotent.
- ·Host's preference for team events: a team booking can follow each resolved host's preferred meeting platform instead of one fixed location, with a safe fallback so a booking never ends up without a link.
- ·Email-invited group polls: restrict a poll to specific people, each with their own voting link, and track who has responded.
- ·Per-currency payout minimums, handled correctly for zero-decimal currencies.

DayOtter for Android is live on Google Play
- ·The Android app is now on Google Play - the full host workflow in your pocket, with push reminders and voice input for Otter. iOS is on the way.
- ·Import from Calendly: bring your event types and weekly availability across in one step.
- ·Opt-in bookings: require your approval before a request is confirmed.
- ·Offset start times: shift a booking type's slots off the hour (e.g. :05 / :35).

Ask Otter, a refreshed interface & new sign-in
- ·Ask Otter: a conversational assistant in your dashboard - by chat or voice - that reads your schedule and can act on your whole setup (bookings, booking types, availability, focus time, preferences, teams, reminder channels, automations). Always confirm-first; deletes ask twice.
- ·A refreshed, premium interface end to end - a cleaner typeface, in-theme dialogs and toasts, and a tidier mobile navigation.
- ·Phone number + one-time-code sign-in, email verification, and self-serve account deletion.
- ·Browser (web push) reminders alongside mobile push, Slack, SMS, and WhatsApp.
